LaFerrari Aperta on auction to benefit Save the Children

To mark Ferrari's 70th anniversary, it will auction a one-of-a-kind LaFerrari Aperta to benefit the charity Save the Children.

In celebration of its 70th anniversary, Italian sports car manufacturer Ferrari will donate the proceeds from the sale of its last LaFerrari Aperta to benefit the charity Save The Children and its education programme. The car was sold over the weekend at the Leggenda e Passione sale organised with RM Sotheby’s. Held on Ferrari’s Fiorano track, the sale was part of a historic car auction by the marque. The open-top supercar was the last of 210 cars in a limited-edition range but it was made one-of-a-kind for the auction with specially designed livery in metallic Rosso Fuoco with the Bianco Italia metallic double racing stripe on the bonnet and rear. The interior was decked out in black Alcantara and shiny black carbon fibre while red leather inserts on the seats and red stitching added a touch of detail.
