Patek Philippe re-opens in Suria KLCC

It even has a patrimony exhibition area, which showcases Patek Philippe’s 175 years of historical milestones.

The design of Patek Philippe’s boutique in Suria KLCC reflects the rich heritage of the brand through several iconic elements that reinforce the corporate architectural quality. Now fronting the P Ramlee entrance of Suria KLCC, the impressive 8.4m façade boasts a completely new and unique design, with the brand’s emblematic Calatrava cross etched in glass and painted in unique, textured gold. Specially developed in Paris, eight separate glass panels were intricately cut out before being delicately reassembled halfway across the world in Kuala Lumpur, and installed to frame the façade in a seamless manner.

The new boutique is now an expansive 2,024 sq ft — more than 500 sq ft larger than at its previous location. The rejuvenated space is also elegantly furnished with precious woods, plush leather upholstery, custom-made glass, Baccarat crystal and burnished brass finishings. Upon entry, customers are warmly welcomed to discover a wide range of Patek Philippe timepieces in the watch gallery with large windows and counter displays. To the left, you can enjoy the patrimony exhibition area, which showcases Patek Philippe’s 175 years of historical milestones.

Beyond the watch gallery, the boutique opens up to a lounge, library and an exclusive area where you can continue your journey of discovery with personalised attention from the brand’s ambassadors. The library is curated with beautiful decorative elements, complete with Patek Philippe horological and historical literature, which allows you to immerse yourself in the Patek Philippe universe. A VIP area has also been created to serve clients in luxurious privacy — large doors with Indian rosewood and burnished brass identity panels separate this area from the rest of the boutique.

A specially created fragrance, called the Grand Quai, both familial and inviting, envelopes the boutique with its distinctive scent to welcome clients to a warm and luxurious environment. The Grand Quai (or big quay in French) was inspired by the brand’s honorary president Philippe Stern’s love for sailing and is reminiscent of the sport and the quayside. Once exclusive to the three Patek Philippe Salons in Geneva, London and Paris, this signature fragrance has now been extended to all Patek Philippe boutiques across the world and clients can experience it for the first time in Malaysia at the new Suria KLCC boutique.
