In May, Hugh Jackman kicked off his first world concert tour — comprising 88 shows — in Glasgow, Scotland, after months of gruelling eight-hour rehearsals. Doing the third leg of the show, the Australian is back in his home country to pay homage to some of the greatest award-winning Broadway and Hollywood musicals he has performed in, accompanied by a live orchestra. The Sydney-boy-turned-international-movie star will sing, dance and chat for two affable hours.

Produced by Robert Fox and directed by Warren Carlyle, the show consists of different acts, each inspired by different topics and characters Jackman has played in his musical career, including Gaston from Beauty and the Beast, Jean Valjean from Les Misérables, Peter Allen from The Boy from Oz and P T Barnum from The Greatest Showman. The versatile entertainer’s charismatic revue will also see him tap dancing to AC/DC, singing Sinatra and waltzing with Deborra-Lee Furness, his wife of 23 years.

The actor’s exuberant arena show appeals to all demographics, where kids, adults and those who are really just there to catch a glimpse of Wolverine can enjoy. As a treat for his home country, Jackman has invited actress and singer Keala Settle to make a special guest appearance for his shows in Australia.
Settle will perform the Golden Globe award-winning song, This is Me. Jackman, in his previous live shows, including his concert residency Hugh Jackman: Back on Broadway in New York, was critically praised for his vocal performance and stage presence.
