The fitness industry peaked during the pandemic as it gave people the time to think about health holistically. This trend shows no signs of slowing down, especially with the opening of Alo Yoga’s first flagship store in Malaysia at Kuala Lumpur’s trendiest mall, The Exchange TRX.

The Los Angeles-based premium lifestyle brand, renowned for its luxurious activewear, reached a significant milestone with its expansion into Asia. This momentous occasion sees the simultaneous opening of flagship stores in Thailand and Indonesia, bringing its signature blend of luxury and functionality to new markets across the vibrant and dynamic landscape of the region.

Alo Yoga, an acronym for “Air, Land and Ocean”, embodies a studio-to-street mantra inspired by mindful movement for better living. The exclusive launch at TRX attracted a glamorous crowd, including popular social media figures such as Christinna Kuan, Jestinna Kuan, Shalma Ainaa, Michiyo Ho, Athisha Khan, Christian Didier, Nia Atasha, Sherry Amin and Thanuja Ananthan, all dressed in Alo attire. The event was graced by the president and founder of Melium, Datuk Seri Farah Khan, who provided VIP clientele with an exclusive preview of the store and the brand’s eclectic styles.

The flagship store carries Alo’s latest collections for men and women, including leggings, sports bras, loungewear and accessories, all designed with the perfect blend of style, comfort and performance that is synonymous with the brand. Also thrown in for good measure is an inclusive selection of sizes and designs tailored to suit all body types.
