Self-taught Evon Loh from Kedah says owls and German Shepherds may not interact directly because of their different habitats and behaviour but figuratively, they represent loyalty, watchfulness, companionship and trust — qualities that help forge deep and meaningful connections.
Sim, alias Shen Ying, laments that hikers pluck the cute monkey cups on Penang Hill, used in the olden days to scoop water from mountain streams for cooking, leading to their scarcity today.
Beginning of Spring is a sweet reminder about fresh starts, turning points and unexpected warmth in the cycle of life. Cherish it all, says Sarawak-born artist Loh Yi Qi.
Yoong’s Blossoming Beyond Boundaries captures the moment children find their wings and take off towards self-discovery. It prompts the viewer to reflect on nostalgia, anticipation and transition.
