Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur’s colourful chocolates would please the children, as well as the child at heart. Ben’s Bake Shop (The Big Group)
A classic Easter treat, a hot cross bun is best served warm, dripping with melted butter. If you ran out of ingredients to make it, The Big Group sells a fluffy and judiciously spiced version that you’ll approve of. Studded with raisins and a neat piping of flour for the finishing touch, the buns mark the perfect ending to a festive season.

If you’re looking for a stunning dish to anchor your Easter spread, Chef Nathalie’s Leg of Lamb — cooked for seven hours and served atop a bed of guedra vegetables — will not disappoint. Alternatively, the fragrant and creamy Ginger and Seafood Blanquette will have your family coming back for seconds. The menu caps off with The White Rabbit’s Surprise, a delicate chocolate egg fit for the occasion. Nero Nero’s sizeable five-course Family Easter Menu — curated by head Italian chef Giuseppe Lioce — serves four people. The lunch includes a full loaf of Apulia Focaccia bread, a spinach and ricotta pie, Spanish octopus and potato salad, a beef Bolognese lasagne, slow-cooked lamb ragù with Roman pecorino cheese, beef rolls and Apulia meatball stew and a selection of Easter treats by pastry chef Giordano.
