Woobar is offering a limited edition Pink Afternoon Party high tea set to raise funds for Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia (BCWA). Guests can enjoy a medley of sweet and savoury delights, including the Inari Sushi with Sakura Denbu and Trout Roe Pearls, Smoked Eel Custard with Caviar and Pink Tapioca Cracker, Earl Grey Tea Opera, and Rose Lychee Macaron and Cape Gooseberry Scones. The hotel has been a keen supporter of breast cancer initiatives for years. This time around, Mandarin Oriental KL will be donating 10% of their Pink Afternoon Tea proceeds to the Pink Ribbon Wellness (L) Foundation, an organisation that provides medical support and regular seminars to educate women about the disease. Curated by executive pastry chef Antony Hoyle, the elaborate spread includes Berliner with vanilla custard, berry yoghurt cheesecake, scones, and more. Priced at RM158, the set comes with free flow of hot beverages.

In addition to eye-catching, pink-coloured culinary offerings, Utara restaurant at Hotel Armada will be presenting vegan dishes as part of their afternoon tea as vegan diets are potentially beneficial in preventing cancer. Ten percent of your total bill will go towards Breast Cancer Foundation to create broader awareness that early detection can save lives. Moreover, the hotel has partnered Kuvings Malaysia to provide guests with free health screening (on October 6, 13 and 20) that measures your blood pressure and blood glucose level, as well as analyse your body composition.
