The bold nature of the BMW X2 sDrive20i M Sport easily makes an impression. Created to transform the Compact Premium segment, the BMW X2 features an unmistakably sporty, dynamic and urban design, which makes the car stand out in its class and within the BMW X model family. It’s a vehicle that cuts a dashing figure, and these are the reasons that make it so distinctive.
The design cues of the BMW X2 are unique but they still allude to the features of the BMW X family. One prime example is the iconic kidney grille, whose trapezoidal shape – for the first time – has been upturned instead of being widened from top to bottom. Other design highlights of the X2 include short overhangs, slim window graphic and a stretched, coupe-style roofline.
Driving dynamics-wise, the X2 is powered by the multiple award-winning 2L BMW TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder petrol engine, which combines twin-scroll turbocharger with Valvetronic, double VANOS and High Precision injection. Such immense power allows the car to generate a top speed of 227 km/h with an overall output of 192hp and 280Nm of torque. To put it simply, this means that the X2 can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.7 seconds.
The interior of the X2 in Magma Red with contrasting grey seams is unequivocally BMW as well. Multi-function buttons on the steering wheel, mirrors with automatic anti-dazzle function and LED ambient lighting are just some of the features that lend a premium quality to the car. It also displays everyday practicality too – drivers who are travelling with a big family will definitely appreciate the luggage compartment that has a capacity of 470 L, and up to 1,355 L with the 40/20/40 split folding down rear seat backrests.
