Disney, denim and dogwear — our favourite looks from the new Moschino x H&M collection

The Moschino x H&M collection, first revealed on the evening of April 14 at Jeremy Scott’s 11th annual party at Coachella music festival, with an Instagram live call from Gigi Hadid, is finally hitting the racks next month.

The collection has just about everything for everyone, from Mickey Mouse sweaterdresses, denim overalls, and a parka dress covered entirely in silver sequins to gold leather biker jacket punctured with gold chains. Cartoon characters also join the party, including a familiar Minnie Mouse knitted into a fuchsia intarsia sweater dress. It’s Disney couture all over again, ever since the reference enjoyed an overwhelming success at Moschino’s SS16 collection.

The Italian luxury fashion house is the latest high-end label to team up with the Swedish mega-retailer, following the quick-sold-out footsteps of Erdem, Balmain, Kenzo and Versace. For the lookbook, Scott cast his real-life friends including Aquaria, Season 10 winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Amiaya, twins and influencers Aya and Ami, Sakura Beady, Scott's assistant at Moschino and Pablo Olea, Scott's best friend and head of global PR and communications of Moschino.

“Whenever I design, I think about my friends,” Scott says. “The Moschino x H&M lookbook is like a party; celebrating the fun, the pop, the creativity, and the energy of the people and the collection.”

Here are some of our favourite looks that are guaranteed to bring a bit of Moschino fun to your wardrobe.  MOSCHINO [tv] H&M will be available in H&M Avenue K store and online from November 8.
