When it comes to high-end travel accessories, few do it like Tumi. Knowing the sometimes hectic and rushed settings these items are often carried in, it makes sense that none other than McLaren Racing would be the perfect partner for the lifestyle brand’s latest collection, named the Extreme Capsule after the esports team.
This marks an exciting expansion of the relationship between the two entities, that goes back to when Tumi’s stepped into the role of official luggage partner for the Formula One team and McLaren Automotive in 2019 and, later, the NEOM McLaren Extreme E team and McLaren Shadow esports team earlier in February this year.

The new collection comprises three high-performance, modern bags meant to accompany the frequent jetsetter as well as the British off-road racing group as it tours the globe. Each is crafted using full-welded construction and prime materials to produce lightweight, water-resistant products that are as visually sharp as they are useful.
Featuring a large main compartment with a magnetised flat opening, the Terrain backpack carries daily essentials and has a padded laptop sleeve that fits a 15in PC. The Throttle duffel offers the usual sturdy and spacious top-handle experience but easily transforms into a knapsack with its sternum and backpack straps. Lately, the Rally sling pouch comes with a zipped partition as well as open and back transparent pockets to help keep your valuables close by while on the go.
Taking the Extreme E ethos into consideration, the packaging for this collection spotlights sustainability and low impact. Each item comes sealed in a reusable compression storage bag to combat packaging waste and encourage space efficiency.
