After much anticipation, the sustainability-focused Parkroyal Collection Kuala Lumpur — formerly the Parkroyal Kuala Lumpur — has opened in the heart of Bukit Bintang. The hotel with 527 rooms also marks the biophilic brand’s first launch beyond Singapore’s shores.
In 2020, the Pan Pacific Hotels Group, a member of Singapore-listed UOL Groupd Ltd, reportedly invested over RM360 million to overhaul three components: the existing Tower Block and President House, as well as Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Kuala Lumpur. In line with its commitment of going green, the Parkroyal Collection Kuala Lumpur has constructed a vertical green façade incorporating sky planters, as well as roof terraces that showcase 13,000 sq ft of foliage.

Earthy tones and wooden finishes, which are signature to the Parkroyal Collection brand, dominate the hotel’s design. In case you were wondering, its architecture and interiors are helmed by world-renowned DP Architects and FDAT — the creative team behind Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay, Singapore.
True to its eco-friendly ethos, Parkroyal Collection Kuala Lumpur has included environmentally-conscious amenities and services in its operations, from introducing biodegradable packaging and offering filtered drinking water solution in every guestroom to implementing a food-waste management system.
