Since the 2010 Brazil World Cup, Louis Vuitton has partnered with FIFA to design a bespoke case to hold the game’s official trophy. It’s no different this year too as the luxury powerhouse has designed a special trunk case for the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018. Hand-crafted in Asnières, France (also LV’s historic workshop), the all chromed-out and leather padded case is covered in the classic laser-engraved monogram.
The luggage experts at Louis Vuitton has also fashioned a fancy, limited-edition FIFA World Cup Match Ball Collection Trunk that is set to become an immediate collector’s item. The trunk opens up to reveal a collection of 13 re-editions of the official match balls used in at the tournaments since 1970, all fabricated by adidas. With only 21 available for purchase worldwide, the trunk will also include an additional football designed by LV.
If you're packing for say, a short getaway or a stayover at a friend’s place to watch the World Cup, Louis Vuitton has got you covered too. The Keepall duffel and Apollo backpacks, as well as a selection of smaller leather pieces, are made with embossed version of the House’s classic Epi leather. Continuing LV’s long tradition of personalisation, you can create original and unique flag-inspired coloured versions of the collection’s Keepall bags during the World Cup season.
The Licensed Product Collection will be available in 50 Louis Vuitton stores around the globe and online from 14 June until end of July 2018.
