A culmination of Italian beauty, the organic and the man-made are married perfectly in the sole Revuelto Opera Unica. Melding the natural blue waters of Sardinia with the technical and artistic prowess of Lamborghini, chairman and CEO Stephen Winkelmann describes the one-of-a-kind car as “a truly unique art-piece reflecting the distinctive seascape and emotions of Italy’s most beautiful island destination”.
This high-powered mechanical marvel wrapped in meticulously executed expertise stuns with its exterior paint effects that capture marine splendour, requiring an additional 475 hours of painstaking
specialist work.
This Opera Unica was crafted with localised two- and three-tone paint fading enhanced by brush painting to recreate the effect of water crashing against the cliffs. Lamborghini Ad Personam’s specially developed paint techniques utilise three shades of blue to represent the levels of aquatic depth, accentuating the angles and lines of its modern, architectural appearance. The “dragged” brush and spatula techniques exclusive to this machine emulate sparkling waves of light Blu Tawaret, bright Blu Cepheus and dark Blu Okeanos across the front, sides and rear.
On the inside, Blu Delphinus upholstery is complemented by a lighter shade on the seatbacks, doors and trimming, along with a pronounced white piping. The aqueous stitching effect, also three-toned, required the 85-hour development of a bespoke tool to attain. Perfectly capturing the energy of the brilliant Sardinian seas both inside and out, the absolute visual mastery of this hybrid super sports car is a labour of love and innovation.
