Explorers who brave the unknown in the name of science need tools they can rely on in unpredictable circumstances and under perilous conditions, particularly instruments that are legible, precise and efficient. Bell & Ross’ BR 03-92 Diver Tara is specially designed to be used at sea and even underwater for the crew on board the Tara, a research vessel that sails out on projects aimed at protecting the ocean.
Helmed by the Fondation Tara Ocean, the schooner explores the seas to better understand it and share scientific knowledge to raise awareness of the impacts of climate change and pollution because protecting the ocean is everyone’s responsibility. If it is unhealthy, our planet and our future will be at stake.
The BR 03 Diver is for those extraordinary pilots and divers whose missions and lives depend on their instruments and machines. To mark the first year of its partnership with the foundation, Bell & Ross has brought out the BR 03-92 Diver Tara, limited to 999 pieces, and a portion of the profit from every piece sold will go towards supporting its work.
Function is key with this watch, which has a 42mm matte blue ceramic case and a unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel in blue and orange, graduated to 60 minutes as required by professional divers. Powered by the BR-CAL 302 self-winding mechanical movement and water-resistant up to 300m, it comes with a woven blue rubber strap lined with ultra-resistant technical material.
Equipping professionals who work on land, on the sea and in the sky is a challenge Bell & Ross takes on with panache through its timepieces. Besides the Tara foundation, it also has partnerships with La Patrouille, the French Air and Space Force, and sports car brand Alpine.
