New Omega Seamaster Diver 300M worn by Daniel Craig during Paris Olympics makes official debut

Two new models and four reference numbers join the 300M collection.

Illuminating the unknown and discovering the undiscovered is the valiant pursuit of the explorer. From the deep blue to the extraterrestrial frontier, Omega has never failed in its mission to craft the ultimate timekeeping companion for those adventure calls. Drawing on a storied heritage dating back to 1993, the long-beloved Seamaster Diver 300M gets a modern makeover with a new series of models that continue the maison’s intrepid legacy of unparalleled innovation and design.

The highly-anticipated release departs from the signature ceramic style sported by the ocean timepieces in recent years. Instead it alludes to the 007 edition that appeared in the James Bond film, No Time to Die — an homage foreshadowed by lead actor Daniel Craig having been spotted wearing one of the watches earlier this year at the Paris Olympics.

The capsule currently offers two 42mm stainless steel variants with distinct options of bezel and dial configuration. The first comprises a black aluminium bezel and dial, the latter of which is accentuated by laser-engraved waves, while the second boasts a titanium bezel and brushed PVD steel dial. Shared elements like Super-LumiNova filled skeletonised hands and indices, domed sapphire crystal and helium escape valve at 10 o’clock recall the Seamaster’s most recognisable details. Driving these instruments is the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, which features exceptional precision and magnetic resistance on top of a 55-hour reserve and water resistance up to 300m.

These combinations can each be further coupled with either a bold mesh bracelet (as inspired by the movie) or sporty rubber strap. The resulting four permutations represent a sophisticated meeting of classic, energetic designs, dressed in refined monochromatic tones, that seamlessly meld superior technology with audacious aesthetics.
