The Shed by Cloudy Bay
Fans of celebrated New Zealand winery Cloudy Bay can rejoice — a new cellar door has opened in Central Otago, in the heart of stunning South Island. Located in its Cromwell vineyard, The Shed is open to the public from 11am to 5pm daily, except Monday, with extended hours in the summer months.
The tasting room in The Shed will offer connoisseurs and newbies alike the full range of Cloudy Bay wines to taste and enjoy by the glass, along with light snacks. Here, you can also look at the opportunity to book a private tasting or choose from a range of custom-made experiences, including vineyard tours by land or air.
Estate director Yang Shen says, “This is the culmination of the hard work and vision of our team. We are so happy to have found a home in Central Otago and look forward to sharing our wine and lifestyle with visitors to The Shed.
Cloudy Bay has been making wine in the Central Otago region since 2010, both from the Northburn and Calvert vineyards. Its acclaimed Pinot Noir Te Wahi combines the qualities of the two distinctive vineyards.
