The new Tiffany & Co duplex boutique is stunning as the store, located on levels 2 and 3 of Pavilion KL, spans a total of 3,430 sq ft. Its design is evocative of the jewellery the brand has been peddling for years – timeless, simple and sleek.
Upon entry, you’ll be greeted by an elegant crystal chandelier – an interpretation of the fixtures incorporated at two other Tiffany & Co.’s flagship boutiques, the Piazza Duomo in Milan, Italy and Petrovka Street in Moscow, Russia. The visual feast is designed by London-based installation artist Studio Roso.
The store is anchored by a grand spiral staircase that swirls up to Level 3 of the boutique. Its shape, if you cannot guessed already, is inspired by the white ribbon that adorns the iconic Tiffany blue box.
In terms of design, the boutique boasts four different salons. The Fine Jewellery Salon sports white stone flooring with dark green marble bands that are adopted from their Fifth Avenue flagship. On the other hand, the gorgeous Bridal Salon, home to the world famous Tiffany® Setting engagement ring, has hand-painted Magnolia glass panels harkening back to Louis Comfort Tiffany's original exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
Next, the Fashion Salon's feature wall is conceptualised after 1930s glamour with polished metal and a faceted mirror. Last but not least, the Private Sales Salon is the height of luxurious elegance inspired by the residences of New York City’s Upper East Side.
The new duplex store will showcase an assortment of sparkling diamonds, colourful gemstones and sterling silver jewellery. The range will also include creations by Elsa Peretti, Paloma Picasso and Jean Schlumberger, and other famed collections such as Tiffany T, HardWear and Return to Tiffany.
