The Fendi Suria KLCC store reopened with a bang on Dec 6, attracting the city’s most famous and glamorous. Leading the fashion pack decked out in the Italian brand’s chic and eye-catching ready-to-wear was a contingent of Malaysian celebrities and social influencers that included Debbie Goh, Scha Al-Yahya, Awal Ashaari, Marion Caunter, Juwei Teoh, Lexie Rodriguez, Amelia Henderson, Lynn Lim, Danielle Graham, Jojo Goh, Ong Ai Leng, Sarah Lian, Amanda Chaang, Tengku Chanela Jamidah, Fyza Kadir, Thanuja Ananthan, Anuja Ananthan, Patricia Knudsen and Ira Roslan, Serene Lim, Cai Pei Xuan, Kavita Sidhu, Roberto Guya, Jeffrey Cheng, Uriah See, Alvin Chong, Nana Law, Cherrie Mun, and Joe Flizzow. The Sam Willows and Shigga Shay from Singapore also attended the event.
Against the refined and grandiose backdrop of the duplex store, the maison’s Roman identity of sophistication, obsession with details and heritage shone forth. Carrying an extensive range of women’s ready-to-wear, furs, handbags, shoes and accessories, as well as a full range of the Men’s Universe — men’s ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes and accessories — for the first time in Malaysia, the store also showcased many Fendi signature elements, including a blue console designed by French designer Thierry Lemaire, a selection of sketches by Karl Lagerfeld reinforcing Fendi’s story and tradition and a patchwork fur tablet, “Pioggia di Colori”, from the Fur atelier archives showcasing the maison’s exquisite craftsmanship and innovative creativity.
Perfectly echoing Fendi’s strong connection between innovation and tradition, and modern architecture and craftsmanship, the Suria KLCC store does a fine job of channelling a unique retail experience in true Fendi spirit. To commemorate its launch, a worldwide exclusive 10-piece limited-edition Mini Peekaboo bag in a precious baby pink tone and completely filled with sequins is available at the Suria KLCC Fendi store, retailing at RM26,150.
